The facility is set on 4 acres in the hinterland of Byron Bay, which provides an extremely spacious and safe location isolated from the general community.
Right now, Byron Private is taking preventive measures to ensure our facility remains coronavirus-free. More specifically, we have covid safe practices in place with increased education and awareness of hygiene practices, modified cleaning practices that ensure surface areas such as door handles are sanitised regularly while making sure that all of our residents and staff have adequate supplies of hand sanitiser at all times. How are your daily programs running during COVID-19?
Due to the isolated nature of our facility we have not had to reduce any of our service offerings. All medical care is delivered by our medical and psychiatric specialists Dr Anthony Solomon and Dr Tessa Cookson. Our psychologists, psychotherapists and equine therapist are available onsite for face to face sessions to ensure all residents have the highest level of therapeutic care at all times.
Family program is an integral part of program at Byron Private and is still being delivered with an option of face to face or via zoom for those not able to travel. For those still attending family program on site we have extra measures in place to protect our community, staff and family members.
We have onsite group fitness training and yoga and meditation provided as usual by our wonderful teacher Marryanne Edwards in our beautiful large enclosed space by the creek at Byron Private.
Massage is an important components of our program, and are being delivered onsite by practitioners Ruth and Leigha.
Morning and weekend trips to our local pristine beaches of Byron Bay are still ongoing along with surf lessons and paddle boarding
