FAQs on Byron Private’s Program during COVID-19
Byron Private generally has a maximum of 12 residents, however to create even more space we have reduced these numbers to a maximum of 10. The facility is set on 4 acres in the hinterland of Byron Bay, which provides an extremely spacious and safe location isolated from the general community.
Right now, Byron Private is taking preventive measures to ensure our facility remains coronavirus-free. More specifically, we are adapting our programs to comply with social-distancing guidelines, increased education and awareness of hygiene practices, modified cleaning practices that ensure surface areas such as door handles are sanitised two hourly while making sure that all of our residents and staff have adequate supplies of hand sanitiser at all times.
Due to the isolated nature of our facility we have not had to reduce any of our service offerings. All medical care is delivered by our medical and psychiatric specialists Dr Anthony Solomon and Dr Tessa Cookson. Our psychologists, psychotherapists and equine therapist are available onsite for face to face sessions to ensure all residents have the highest level of therapeutic care at all times.
Family program is an integral part of program at Byron Private and is still being delivered with an option of face to face or via zoom for those not able to travel. For those still attending family program on site we have extra measures in place to protect our community, staff and family members.
We have moved to onsite personal training as opposed to visiting a gym offsite with yoga and meditation provided as usual by our wonderful teacher Tabatha in our beautiful large enclosed space by the creek at Byron Private.
Acupuncture and massage are important components of our program, and are being delivered onsite by practitioner Felicity, who is only providing services for Byron Private clients to ensure we keep our client community safe.
Morning and weekend trips to our local pristine beaches of Byron Bay are still ongoing with social distancing measures in place.
If you’re struggling to break free of an addiction or mental health condition, Byron Private is here to help.
