About us
Byron Private
Set in the Byron Bay hinterland, Byron Private is a community based, holistic program offering a safe and nurturing, recovery focused environment for individuals experiencing challenges with drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and relationship issues.
The Residence
Our nurturing facility is purpose-built and nestled on expansive rainforest grounds in the breathtaking hinterland of Byron Bay, just 10 minutes from pristine beaches. Internationally renowned as a global wellness destination, clients experience first-hand why Byron Bay is such a powerful place for healing and rejuvenation.
We bring together a diverse network of highly qualified practitioners across both Western and Eastern traditions to offer a holistic and integrated program. Residents engage in tailored wellbeing support delivered by a multidisciplinary team that includes external consultants and visiting practitioners such as psychologists, therapists, naturopaths, and creative arts facilitators. Modalities include bodywork, yoga, meditation, massage, and other evidence informed approaches to recovery and self-care.

Who We Treat?
The people you will meet in our program are from all walks of life - parents, doctors, hairdressers, lawyers and farmers.
People come to Byron Private for many reasons. Some are seeking space to reflect and recover from challenges such as addiction or disordered eating, while others are moving through life changes; the end of a relationship, the loss of a child, or the hope of repairing a marriage. Some arrive carrying the impact of past trauma, strained relationships, low self-worth, or burnout from giving too much for too long.
What they all share is a desire to ease the pain and make meaningful change and recognise that to do so, they need help and support along the way. If you are ready for real change and want to reconnect emotionally, physically, and mentally, our program may be the right place to begin.
Byron Private offers a supportive pathway to recovery for individuals navigating challenges such as addiction, trauma, mental health concerns, and disordered eating.
Before arrival, our team will carry out a comprehensive screening to ensure the program is a suitable fit for your needs. This process helps us recommend the most appropriate length of stay and level of support.
If we believe a different type of service would better meet your current needs, we will guide you toward a more suitable option.
If you or someone you love is struggling, please reach out to our intake team for a confidential discussion on 02 6684 4145 or via our online contact form.
