Onsite Psychiatrist and Detox Support
Prior to commencing your program, you will meet with our onsite consulting GP for a medical review to confirm you are medically suitable and able to fully engage in the program. If required, our team can help to support you through your drug or alcohol detox in our supportive accommodation, with the reassurance of a highly trained and experienced team.
Within your first week, you will also have a consultation with our consultant psychiatrist, who will provide a diagnostic assessment and, if needed, a medication review to support your recovery-focused care. This comprehensive approach ensures your treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs, giving you the best possible foundation for recovery.

Non-Clinical Environment
Our non-clinical setting provides a safe and supportive space to address PTSD and trauma. Residents enjoy morning beach walks and swims, ample green space, and eco-therapies designed to promote healing and well-being.
Byron Private combines a tranquil natural environment with an integrated and holistic program, offering an alternative to traditional hospital settings.
Enjoy weekend activities such as nature walks, kayaking and beach excursions, all aimed at enhancing your mental and emotional well-being.

Integrated Therapy in a Safe, Supportive and Healing Community
We offer intensive evidence-based therapies in a safe, supportive, and healing environment. Our program provides a nurturing space for connecting with others and your individual therapist.
Individual and group sessions are balanced with complementary therapies like massage, personal training, yoga, meditation, art therapy, and sauna and steam spa sessions. We create a supportive atmosphere with compassionate staff, many who have lived experience in recovery.
Our model of care is built around a modified therapeutic community, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support among residents. In our small, intimate, non-clinical group setting, you will find the safety and connection needed to recover.
